Stellum Single Barrel Serpens Rye Whiskey

This 5yr MGP 95% rye bottled at 116.02 proof from Stellum is the spiciest, maltiest MGP I’ve tasted in a long time. Nose is fairly muted with some light florals and lemon. But on the palate this thing EXPLODES! Classic MGP rye spice with mint, cinnamon, lemon, but with the added bonus of malt. Combine a really good Stranahan’s Snowflake release with a 10yr barrel strength MGP, and that’s what I’m talking about, a complete and whole whiskey with the MAXIMUM amount of flavor.

Parker’s Heritage 16th Edition Double Barreled Blend

The 16th edition of the Parker’s Heritage Collection consists of 67% 13-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that has been double barreled and then blended post aging with 33% 15-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The 13-year-old Bourbon was aged on floors 5 – 7 of Rickhouse Q and was then re-barreled in new American white oak barrels with a level 3 char for 4 weeks. Then, it was blended with 15-year-old Bourbon aged on floors 2 and 5 of Rickhouse II.

Four Roses Bourbon

A sweet and easy drinking combination of all FOur Roses mashbills bottled at 80 proof and aged at least 4 years, but without an age statement. Perfectly balanced spice, a quick touch of oak, then lots of chewy tropical fruit notes. Leave it to the old Seagram’s QC and yeast to maintain the extreme drinability and flavor of this blend for so many years. If you’re going to have an 80 proof sipper in your line up, this one is hard to beat.

Ben Holladay Missouri Straight Bourbon Whiskey BIB

Missouri House Bill 266 passed in 2019 states that to be called a “Missouri Bourbon,” said whiskey must be mashed, fermented, distilled, aged and bottled in the state of Missouri. It must also ONLY be aged in new charred oak barrels FROM Missouri, and it must be made from corn grown in Missouri. So, there’s no doubt where Ben Holladay BIB from McCormick’s in Weston Missouri is from! Aged for at least 6 years, this is like no other bourbon on the market. Bready and sweet with a wonderful light and easy yeast note to go along with smooth baking spices. The flavor is rich and mature but not over powering. A soda like sweetness along with graham cracker, tree nuts, and red fruit persist throughout. Show me!

Jack Daniel’s Special Release American Single Malt 106.6 Proof

Brown sugar and red fruit on the nose, some licorice notes, touch of cinnamon bread. On the palate, very nutty, peanuts and peanut butter emerging with a touch of classic Jack banana. This would be an Elvis favorite but with the added drying complexity and red fruit from the Oloroso casks. I don’t get much malt, but I do feel like it’s a complete whiskey in and of itself.

Jim Beam White Label

The #1 selling bourbon in the world! Orange, vanilla, and tropical fruit on the nose. Light oak influence. A little bit of biscuit. On the palate, very soft with more oranges, tangerines, and some banana. Finishes with a pleasant spice.

Gentleman Jack Tenessee Whiskey

Boiling maple sap, birch wood wintergreen fire, caramel corn. On the palate, super soft oak profile with candy shop sweetness, powdered sugar, peanuts and freshly baked bread. More soft wood notes with just a touch of the signature Jack banana bite.

Canadian Club Whisky

On the nose, pillow soft vanilla and predominant butterscotch with just a hint of oak. On the palate, more sweet vanilla cream notes with deep fruit core of yellow and red fruit. Soft oak, then more butterscotch to finish.
