Missouri House Bill 266 passed in 2019 states that to be called a “Missouri Bourbon,” said whiskey must be mashed, fermented, distilled, aged and bottled in the state of Missouri. It must also ONLY be aged in new charred oak barrels FROM Missouri, and it must be made from corn grown in Missouri. So, there’s no doubt where Ben Holladay BIB from McCormick’s in Weston Missouri is from! Aged for at least 6 years, this is like no other bourbon on the market. Bready and sweet with a wonderful light and easy yeast note to go along with smooth baking spices. The flavor is rich and mature but not over powering. A soda like sweetness along with graham cracker, tree nuts, and red fruit persist throughout. Show me!
